About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of dining chairs is a design by the Finnish artist and designer Tuomas Markunpoika, crafted from wood. The chairs are defined by their minimalist form and a distinctive, stepped backrest that provides a subtle architectural detail.
Constructed from a light-toned wood with a clear finish, the chairs exhibit a warm, honey-brown colour. The design emphasizes clean lines and a solid, geometric structure, reflecting principles of modern Scandinavian design. The seamless integration of the seat, legs, and backrest creates a unified and coherent silhouette.
The chairs are presented in a very good state of preservation, showing minimal signs of previous use. The original wooden finish is well-maintained, retaining its natural lustre and highlighting the grain of the material.
With their understated elegance, these chairs are well-suited for a contemporary or Scandinavian-inspired dining room. Their clean profile allows them to complement a variety of table styles, from wood to metal and glass, creating a refined and cohesive dining arrangement.
