About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a modular shelving system, designed by Poul Cadovius for Cado in the 1960s. This piece is an outstanding example of Danish Mid-Century design, known as the Royal System, celebrated for its flexibility and elegant, space-saving construction.
Manufactured in Denmark, this extensive wall system consists of teak veneer panels and various components, including base cabinets, shelves, and a bar compartment. The system is wall-mounted, allowing for individual arrangement of the elements.
The warm tones and distinctive grain of the teak wood are characteristic of the era and the design.
The overall condition is good, but there are age-related signs of wear and holes (socket and cable) from installation. See pictures.
The modular nature of the system remains fully functional and allows for versatile use.
In total, the wall cabinet consists of 20 parts.
Shipping possibly available upon request.
