Stunning molded glass vase from the German Modernist period, designed by Erich Schumann for WMF in the 1960s-70s.
This piece features the famous organic "Ice Glass" or "glacier glass" pattern, with a deep texture reminiscent of melted ice, bark, or sculpted rock. Its intentionally irregular profile and slightly distorted base are typical characteristics of this design, highly sought after by German design enthusiasts.
The transparency of the glass and the substantial thickness of the material create magnificent plays of light, even when displayed empty.
