Chantalle Smeets has developed a unique style, which is reflected in her sculptures in bronze, stone, ceramic, and wood. Her inspiration is nature. Her art radiates joy, strength, and beauty, with a unique character. The tranquility of her sculptures can offer a moment of introspection and peace, a touch of something greater beyond thought. This is what nature can also offer us and the necessity of our connection with nature. She wishes to share this through her art. Together with her partner, artist Martiene Stevens, they manage Kunsthuis Trobar.
