RNST, born in 1972, is a French street artist and graffiti artist.
He has been experimenting with canvas since the 1990s. Together with his friend Cynik, he conquered the streets to express his committed art. He used all kinds of techniques: graffiti, posters, collages and stencils.
Influenced by rock music, his artistic style is a mix of provocation and romanticism. To create his work, the artist draws inspiration from current events.
At first glance, his creations do not seem to have any links, but in reality, the artist has carefully combined symbols to create a well-founded critique. RNST does not want to give us the key, however, because he wants the viewer to ask questions and come up with his own analysis.
In this sense, his support is consistent with his themes, as his works are no longer his own and are publicly owned.
In the 2000s, RNST withdraws from the street to invest even more in art starting in 2009. The artist also creates works on canvas and other recycled media.
