White Serpente floor lamp by Elio Martinelli for Martinelli Luce. A beautiful iconic floor lamp by famous Italian designer Elio Martinelli for the company Martinelli Luce. Designed in 1965, the Serpente lamp is made with innovative methacrylate casting techniques for the era in which it was born. 'Serpente' translates to 'snake,' which is evident in the lamp's thin neck that curls around the lamp's heavy base. This design makes it easy to move the lampshade, so you have the light exactly the way you want The base and base were previously repainted by a craftsman in a matte lacquer.
