Early and rare earthenware (porcelain?) vase constructed from four curved elements of varying diameters, entirely covered with a thick white glaze with some blue dots. Made by Jan van der Vaart (1931-2000). Hand-signed on the base with: vd Vaart, his wheel mark, and 60 (or 66?) for 1960 or 1966. Also a capital P (for Porcelain?). Dimensions: hxd: 13.3 x 6.9 cm. Condition: small chip near foot ring, glazed chip on lip rim, and a vertical crack of 1.6 cm at the neck rim with a related chip on the lip rim, see photos.
