Product description
Where the Leaves Hold the Moonlight
In the silent world of the Moonlight Garden, leaves unfold like soft shapes in the night. They seem to catch the moonlight, hold it, and preserve it for a moment.
The various shades of green, the soft silver-white, and the dark background together form a serene harmony. The leaves touch each other, overlap, and move as if with an invisible nocturnal current. Through them, countless hand-carved lines intertwine – tangible reliefs that give the work a lively, almost organic skin.
The moonlight is not literally depicted here. It lives in the light parts of the leaves, in the subtle nuances, and in the space between light and dark. As if you step into a secret garden in the middle of the night where the leaves whisper:
Hold on to the light even when the night grows dark
The work is hand-carved from a single linoleum plate. The carved lines are not only visible but also tangible. This creates a work of art that can not only be viewed but also, as it were, felt.
Where the Leaves Hold the Moonlight invites you to slow down. To look at the silent beauty of leaves, light, and shadow – and perhaps also at the light that every person sometimes tries to hold on to.
Technique: hand-carved linoleum, where the original linoleum plate forms the artwork Dimensions: 80 x 60.5 x 2 cm Hanging: can be presented both horizontally and vertically
