Product description
This is a contemporary painting by the artist, titled 'When the forest remembers 3'. The work, executed in acrylic paint on hardboard, depicts a stylized elephant that immediately catches the eye due to its unique and vibrant execution.
The painting is characterized by a striking technique where the elephant's body is built up from countless small, thickly applied brushstrokes in various colors, creating a mosaic-like effect. These colorful areas contrast sharply with the dark background and the bright blue outline of the animal. The background is an abstract composition of flowing, deep colors such as green, red, and blue, which give the central subject extra depth and context.
It is a unique piece, painted directly on canvas and signed by the artist on the front lower right. The texture of the canvas and the impasto-like paint layers are clearly visible and contribute to the tactile character of the painting.
With its expressive use of color and modern figurative style, this painting is a powerful statement in any interior. It could form a dynamic accent in a living room, office, or hallway with a modern or eclectic decor.
