Product description
This grandfather clock is a classic example of traditional craftsmanship, crafted from burr walnut. The design is characterized by a rich, warm wood grain and a detailed dial featuring a maritime scene and moon phase display.
The clock is constructed of wood with brass accents, including the dial and the weights. The dial displays Roman numerals and is decorated with engraved ships and corner ornaments. The mechanism is driven by three copper-colored weights on chains. The case rests on sturdy, carved legs and features an elegant, curved hood.
The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original finish and the patina of the wood contribute to the clock's authentic character.
This piece of furniture comes into its own perfectly in a classic or country interior. It forms a striking centerpiece in a hallway, living room, or study, where it adds both a functional and decorative element.
