Huge fat lava vase by Scheurich, West Germany, XXL size of no less than 51cm high, rare in this size! Glazed earthenware with drip glaze from the 1960s, numbered at the bottom 286-51.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came onto the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some well-known names are Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but the greatest were perhaps Scheurich and Bay.
