Product description
Beautiful large vintage Scheurich vase, with the iconic red, orange and black color combination, West Germany fat lava pottery from the 1970s, numbered 408-40 at the bottom.
West Germany was actually a collective name for ceramics that came on the market roughly between 1950 and 1990. Some familiar names include Roth, Carstens, Ruscha, Jopeko, Jasba, Fohr, but perhaps the biggest were Scheurich and Bay.
In perfect vintage condition, some minute production flaws in the glaze, in fact no Germany vase was perfect because they were manufactured in large numbers, no cracks, breaks or chips, check the photos for more details!
