The Weimar Electronic wall clock is a distinctive example of 1970s metalwork produced in the German Democratic Republic. This piece captures the essence of Mid-Century Modern and Space Age design through its striking sunburst silhouette. Constructed from matte black wrought metal, the openwork structure features geometric rays finished with shaded gold accents. The focal point is a brushed gold-tone brass dial, detailed with black Roman numerals and the original "Made in GDR" mark. The clock measures 30.5 centimetres in both height and width, with a depth of 6 centimetres. It retains its original mechanism, which operates on a single LR14 battery.
