Elegant antique Meisenthal crystal water goblet dating from the early 20th century. The generously proportioned rounded bowl is adorned with exceptionally delicate engraved decoration, featuring graceful floral garlands, finely detailed blossoms and elegant suspended ornamental motifs. A narrow geometric frieze encircles the upper section, lending the composition a refined and beautifully balanced appearance. The bowl rests upon a finely shaped stem with a prominent rounded knop and a series of architectural moulded details, terminating in a broad, substantial circular foot. This sophisticated silhouette gives the goblet a stately presence while allowing the clear crystal to capture and refract the light beautifully. A remarkable example of early 20th-century Meisenthal craftsmanship, combining botanical elegance with an elaborate classical form.
