Elegant antique Baccarat crystal water goblet dating from the early 20th century, produced before 1936. The generously proportioned bowl is embellished with exceptionally refined engraved decoration. An intricate frieze of scrolling foliage and classical ornamental motifs encircles the upper section, while the lower part is adorned with elaborate stylised flowers, leaves and arabesques. The richness and precision of the engraving beautifully capture the light and reflect Baccarat’s celebrated decorative craftsmanship. The goblet is raised upon a sophisticated architectural stem featuring a rounded central knop and finely moulded details, terminating in a broad, substantial circular foot. Its stately proportions and elaborate design give the piece an exceptionally elegant and luxurious presence. The crystal remains beautifully clear and luminous. A few very small imperfections and minor chips are present along the rim, as clearly shown in the photographs.
