Vintage Ledu Waso architect lamp (often referred to as Type WH), produced in Sweden. Scandinavian design classics like this were known in the 60s and 70s for their excellent build quality and were intensively used by technical draftsmen and engineers at the time. The typical features of this specific Ledu model in the photo are: • The iconic swivel arm: The sleek black metal arms balanced with double silver-colored tension springs. • The recognizable shade: A wide conical shade with the characteristic ventilation slots at the narrow rear. • The original clamp base: The beige/cream plastic or metal corner clamp with which the lamp can be securely attached to the edge of a workbench or desk. Sustainable and environmentally conscious. By complementing your interior with vintage items, you are doing good. No new raw materials need to be used for this product. If you choose vintage, you use what is already there, and that makes it sustainable. You might not give these objects a second, but even a third or fourth life. Vintage products are of high quality that last for several lives for a reason. Behind every vintage product is a story. The often minimal signs of wear offer a glimpse into the life of the previous owner. The extent to which these signs of wear are present is stated in the description. Photos are part of this description. Please examine them carefully. Vintage (read: used) items sometimes show color variations, uneven wear and/or normal wear. Please take this into account when making your purchase. Retroxl can never be held liable for damage caused by improper use. When shipping, the item is carefully packed to prevent damage. I ship in recycled and environmentally friendly boxes.
