This coat rack was designed by George Nelson and produced by Vitra in the 1980s. Its design is characterized by a striking, sculptural form reminiscent of an atomic model, typical of Nelson's playful approach to Mid-Century Modern design.
The structure consists of a black metal shaft resting on a chrome-plated four-star base. The hooks are also made of chrome-plated metal and terminate in black plastic balls that gently hold garments. The original Vitra label is present on the shaft, confirming the piece's authenticity.
