About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A design by the renowned architectural firm Foster + Partners for Walter Knoll, this Foster 502 three-seater sofa is a paragon of modern elegance. The piece of furniture combines architectural clarity with inviting comfort, resulting in a timeless design icon. This sofa is upholstered in high-quality black leather, which gives it a refined and durable appearance. The seat and backrest feature a subtly tufted pattern that adds structure and visual depth. The whole rests on a sleek, minimalist base of chromed metal, which gives the sofa a floating, light look. This German design is known for its superior craftsmanship and attention to detail. The overall condition of the sofa is good, with a character shaped by use. The leather has developed an authentic patina that contributes to the charm of the furniture, while the construction has retained its sturdiness and shape. The sofa is a representative example of the lasting quality for which Walter Knoll is known. With its clean lines and understated luxury, the Foster 502 sofa fits seamlessly into both a modern home interior and a formal business environment. It is a versatile piece of furniture that functions as comfortable seating and a strong aesthetic statement.
