A Knoll Art Collection chair in dark brown leather. Rudolf B. Glatzel designed this chair for Walter Knoll. The leather seat is in perfect condition with minimal patina and the leather armrests are also untouched. The solid stainless steel frame of the chair with its attractive lines gives the chair a light appearance. A timeless design, made with the highest quality. It is in good original condition with light wear consistent with age and use, retaining a beautiful patina.
This armchair was designed by the German industrial designer Rudolf B. Glatzel in the 1970s. The Art Collection series was initially produced by Dreipunkt and later continued by Walter Knoll. The family business Wilhelm Knoll was founded in 1865 and quickly became known for its high-quality leather furniture. From 1925, Walter Knoll was an important representative of the avant-garde and focused on the production of Bauhaus furniture. Walter Knoll remains one of the leading German furniture manufacturers. The Art Collection series is characterized by high-quality furniture.
