Product description
This contemporary sculpture, titled "Piss on the Future," features a classic gold-plated acrylic plastic figure mounted on a computer hard drive. It combines the traditional aesthetic of figurative statuary with modern technological elements, creating a visual and conceptual contrast. Crafted from plated rigid plastic and electronic components, the sculpture depicts a child in a pose, with a copper wire simulating a jet of water directed at the hard drive below. The gold finish of the plastic contrasts with the blue and silver tones of the computer hardware. The use of recycled technological materials gives the work an industrial, postmodern feel. The sculpture is in good overall condition, maintaining its structural integrity and original charm. The patina of the brass and the details of the hard drive contribute to the work's unique character. Ideal for an industrial or eclectic design environment, this sculpture would fit perfectly in a studio, library, or contemporary exhibition space. Its provocative nature and mix of materials make it an interesting focal point for any modern art collection.
