Private sellerProduct description
Elegant enameled ceramic wall plate by Puigdemont, a renowned workshop in La Bisbal d’Empordà, Catalonia, and signed on the back. Hand-painted decoration depicting a stylized fish with large, expressive eyes, executed in a palette of browns, greens, and blues with delicate nuances. The free brushwork, combined with the subtle polychromy and ivory background, gives this piece an artisanal charm typical of 1960s Catalan productions. Designed to be hung on the wall, this plate perfectly illustrates the revival of post-war Spanish decorative ceramics, blending Mediterranean inspiration, naturalism, and pictorial expression. Each piece features variations in decoration, making it a unique item. A decorative piece full of character, ideal for a wall composition or displayed alone as an art object. Dimensions: D: 32cm
