Splendid and scenic Louis XVI style mirror, dating back to the 19th century.
The mirror has a predominantly rectangular shape, surmounted by a curved and ornate cymatium. The base is supported by two carved feet, giving stability and a more imposing appearance.
The piece of furniture is made of carved wood, with a patinated finish that combines the light ivory color with details in antiqued gold, re-lacquered. This two-tone is distinctive and accentuates the various decorative elements. The patination gives a lived-in and authentic look, typical of period furniture.
