Produced by Gangsø in Denmark, this compact wall mirror has the clean, architectural character associated with Scandinavian design from the mid-century period. The frame is made from solid teak, with vertical elements that extend slightly beyond the horizontal rails and give the piece its distinctive construction.
The mirror glass sits recessed within the frame, creating a subtle shadow line around the edge. The warm teak shows a fine natural grain, while the original black metal hanging chain adds a practical detail without disturbing the simplicity of the design.
The original “Gangsø – Made in Denmark” label is still present, together with the AM quality-control sticker on the glass. Its modest proportions make it particularly easy to place in a hallway, bedroom or bathroom.
