Product description
Wall Mirror, Denmark, 1960s
This elegant Danish wall mirror is a fine example of the restrained simplicity that defines Scandinavian design from the mid-century period. Its slim teak frame and balanced proportions allow the natural beauty of the wood to take centre stage, creating a timeless piece that complements both modern and classic interiors.
Crafted from solid teak, the frame displays a warm reddish-brown tone with beautifully figured grain throughout. Precisely mitred corners and subtly bevelled edges add depth without disturbing the clean architectural lines, while the mirror glass is set slightly back within the frame, creating a delicate shadow gap that further enhances the minimalist design. The original backing board and metal hanging bracket have been preserved, allowing the mirror to be mounted directly to the wall.
Whether placed in a hallway, bedroom, bathroom or above a sideboard, the mirror adds warmth and understated Scandinavian elegance to any space.
