Product description
Wall Mirror, Denmark, 1960s
This Danish wall mirror is defined by its clean proportions and slim solid teak frame. There is very little decoration, which is exactly what gives the piece its strength. The warm tone of the wood and the quiet grain do most of the work.
The mirror glass sits slightly recessed within the frame, creating a fine shadow line around the edge. Precise mitred corners keep the construction crisp, while the narrow profile gives the mirror a light, architectural feel without making it look delicate.
The original backing board and metal hanging bracket are still present. Its simple rectangular shape makes it easy to place in a hallway, bedroom or bathroom, or above a small cabinet.
