Product description
This is a vintage wall light designed by the Finnish designer Helena Tynell. The lamp is a beautiful example of her characteristic work with glass, executed in a brass-colored fixture. The most striking feature is the cylindrical shade made of 'bubble glass' or 'bubble-blown glass', a technique that Tynell popularized in the 1960s.
The lamp consists of a glass shade with an enclosed bubble pattern, mounted on a brass-colored metal holder and arm. The round wall mount is made of cream-colored plastic. When the lamp is on, the structured glass creates a warm and atmospheric light effect, typical of lighting from the Mid-Century era.
