Solid wood planter rescued from an old farmhouse in Aarhus, Denmark. This piece, originally an antique trunk, is an exponent of functional Danish design with clean lines and robust construction. Following the Wabi-Sabi philosophy, the surface of the wood preserves water droplet marks and patina from its former use as a planter. The rear edge still retains the original marks from the trunk's lid hinges, providing a historical narrative to the material.
