Product description
Brand & Type: Vitra La Chaise
Information (designer):
The La Chaise is a design by Charles & Ray Eames for the Vitra brand. Designed in 1948, the iconic La Chaise is a sculptural piece of furniture that effortlessly combines art and functionality. Inspired by a floating figure in a Gaston Lachaise artwork, this lounge chair combines flowing lines with a sense of weightlessness. The organic white plastic seat shell rests on an elegant chrome-plated steel base and a wooden cross base. La Chaise is not only a feast for the eyes but also surprisingly comfortable—ideal as a statement piece in a modern interior.
