Product description
The Vitra Grand Repos is far more than just an armchair – it's a masterpiece of modern seating design, combining ultimate comfort with timeless elegance. In the version with black leather upholstery and the matching ottoman, this iconic piece of furniture makes a luxurious statement in stylish living spaces, high-end offices, or sophisticated lounges.
The Grand Repos's unique feature is the continuously adjustable backrest with an integrated synchronous mechanism that adapts to your posture, allowing for both active and relaxed sitting. The reclining angle can be individually adjusted – ideal for reading, relaxing, or taking a short nap.
The high backrest with its side "wings" provides a sense of security and acoustic insulation, while the contoured seat shell and generous seating area offer optimal support. Combined with the ottoman, it creates a fully functional chaise lounge – comfortable, elegant, and understatedly luxurious.
The armchair is in very good condition; there are some signs of wear, primarily on the ottoman (see photos). A photo of the original invoice from 2015 is available; the purchase price is now significantly higher.
