An authentic Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman, produced by Vitra. This piece of furniture is one of the most famous designs by Charles and Ray Eames and has been considered an icon of modern furniture design since 1956.
This set is executed in the 'new dimensions', which are slightly larger than the original version for contemporary comfort. The set is in top condition. The shells are made of molded plywood with a warm wood veneer (cherry), combined with supple black leather upholstery (Premium nero 66). The characteristic five-star swivel base of the armchair and the four-star base of the ottoman are made of cast aluminum, finished in black with polished sides.
The overall condition of the set is excellent, retaining its original materials and finish. The leather shows a slight, natural creasing that is part of the material's character and use, while the wooden shells and metal base are very well preserved. The set is complete and functions as intended.
The Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman is a timeless addition to any living room, study, or library. Its design seamlessly fits into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to minimalist and contemporary.
