Vitra armchair from the 90s in Aluminium and Black Leather.
Vitra Aluminium Chair EA 115 was designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1958, while the EA 115 has a fixed base. The Aluminium Chair EA 115 offers excellent comfort with its high backrest. The seat height is designed so that users can easily get up from the chair.
The Aluminium Chair is one of the great furniture designs of the twentieth century. Charles and Ray Eames conceived and developed this chair in 1958 for the private home of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA). For the construction, the designer couple deviated from the principle of the seat shell, but stretched a panel of fabric or leather between two aluminum side beams to create a tight but elastic seat. The chair adapts to the sitter's body and is extremely comfortable, even without extensive upholstery.
