Vitra Alcove Plume Sofa – 3-seater
Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec | ca. 2006 (purchased in 2008)
This Alcove Plume 3-seater sofa is an iconic design by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec for Vitra.
The Alcove Plume is a rarer, softer version within the Alcove family and clearly distinguishes itself from the standard Alcove models.
Characteristic features include:
a low backrest
open, outward-curving side panels
an informal, lounge-like appearance
While the classic Alcove has an architectural "room-within-a-room" concept, the Plume is designed for comfort, openness, and domestic use.
