The Aluminum Chair is one of the great furniture designs of the twentieth century. Charles and Ray Eames designed and developed this chair in 1958 for the private home of an art collector in Columbus, Indiana (USA). For its construction, the designer couple departed from the principle of the seat shell, rather than a panel of fabric or leather stretched between two aluminum profiles for a firm but elastic seat. The chair adapts to the body and is extremely comfortable, even without inner padding.
The Aluminum Chairs EA 105-108 are the perfect solution for meeting rooms. They are used in countless stylishly furnished offices, conference rooms and meeting rooms around the world.
