The Vitra Alcove Sofa lowback 3-Seater is a design by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec for the Vitra brand. As a haven for more privacy, this piece of seating originated from the 'space within a space' office concept. The soft fabric-covered high back and side panels should provide rest and shelter to exclude visual and acoustic ambient noise. The high, slender frame of tubular steel creates a feeling of airiness and lightness. It is, as it were, a private alcove that creates a homely atmosphere in the office!
