Beautiful rare set of 6 original Lapalma Cox design chairs. These iconic chairs were designed by the ON-design studio (Klaus Nolting & Andreas Ostwald) for the Italian top brand Lapalma. A complete, identical set of 6 pieces in this sought-after version rarely comes onto the market. The Cox chair is a modern tribute to the great furniture classics of the 20th century (such as Eames and Saarinen). Thanks to advanced 3D veneer technology, the wooden shell is wafer-thin (only 6 mm), which ensures organic, flowing lines and unparalleled ergonomic comfort with a lounge chair.
Wood type: luxurious and warm walnut veneer
Seat: equipped with the then optional, integrated fixed seat made of high-quality leather.
Base: minimalist, stainless steel leg with a smooth 360-degree swivel mechanism.
Design: design from 2003 awarded the "DesignPlus Material Vision Award."
Condition of chairs: the chairs are in good, structurally perfect vintage condition. They show the inevitable normal signs of wear consistent with their age. There are no structural defects. The signs of use give the chairs a beautifully lived-in design character.
