Magnificent sideboard in a modernist, late Art Deco style, made in the 1950s.
This slender piece perfectly embodies the elegant and functional aesthetic of mid-century design.
Crafted in walnut veneer, this piece is distinguished by the richness of its grain and the quality of its finish. The slightly projecting central motif, highlighted by discreetly inlaid geometric lines, adds a refined graphic touch.
The piece rests on an original base with four tall, tapered legs in black wood, finished with gilt brass ferrules, giving it a sleek and sophisticated look, typical of the creations of Italian designers such as Paolo Buffa or Vittorio Dassi.
