Product description
This vintage illuminated wall mirror was produced by the German manufacturer Schöninger in the 1960s. The design combines a functional mirror with a sculptural, illuminated rim, resulting in a striking object typical of the Space Age aesthetic of that period. The mirror is crafted from clear glass and features a textured plexiglass rim that diffuses the light in an atmospheric way. The fixture is equipped with four sockets on the rear, mounted on a wooden backplate. The total diameter is 68 centimeters, with a depth of 10 centimeters. The original Miradur label is still present on the back. The object is in good condition, commensurate with its age and use. The original wiring and sockets have been preserved, as well as the authentic finish of the plexiglass. This illuminated mirror looks excellent in a hallway, bedroom, or living room. The design fits seamlessly with both Mid-Century Modern and eclectic interiors, where it functions as a functional piece of art on the wall.
