Vintage ceramic storage jar by Wächtersbach Keramik, presumably from the 1970s to early 1980s.
The cylindrical jar is fully glazed in bright red and decorated with a graphic kitchen motif in dark blue and white: A steaming pot and a teapot stand on a stylized stove. The strong color contrast gives the vessel a very charming retro character.
The jar has a matching, solid natural cork lid. The embossed manufacturer's mark of Wächtersbach Keramik is on the underside.
Good vintage condition. There is a small, superficial chip in the glaze at one point on the upper rim. The ceramic body is not damaged. The cork lid shows natural age-related traces and discolorations. Please refer to the detailed photos.
