Private sellerProduct description
Original vintage Vitsœ 606 Universal Shelving System designed by Dieter Rams, Germany, 1960s.
A large 408 cm wide configuration consisting of aluminium wall rails, open shelving and multiple flap-door cabinets. Each cabinet contains an internal shelf, while one cabinet is fitted with a dedicated LP storage system for vinyl records.
The 606 is fully modular: shelves and cabinets can be repositioned along the rails, divided into smaller configurations or expanded with additional Vitsœ components.
The unit is in good vintage condition. The top surfaces remain very neat, with some signs of use mainly around the flap doors, consistent with age.
A comparable configuration purchased new from Vitsœ today would cost well over €10,000.
Measurements as shown:
Height: 111 cm
Width: 408 cm
Depth: 38 cm
