Product description
A working, vintage table lamp or desk lamp, manufactured by VEB Leuchtenbau in former East Germany.
The design shows clear influences of the Bauhaus movement.
The lamp has a dish-shaped shade of grey lacquered and chromed metal, resting on a curved arm and a weighted, round base. The base and the arm are chromed.
The large shade provides directed, functional light, ideal for a workspace or reading nook. The grey on/off switch is prominently integrated into the base of the lamp.
Dimensions: Shade diameter 37 cm. Height 35 cm. Base diameter 19 cm. Cord length 133 cm.
Condition: In good vintage condition consistent with age and use. Some scratches and marks on the shade and chrome. The original finish and parts have been preserved.
Supplied without a light source. The shade will be disassembled for shipping.
