This glass vase, a creation by Finnish designer Nanny Still, is a remarkable example of mid-20th century design. The piece stands out for its sculptural silhouette and deep amethyst color, characteristic of Still's work in the 1950s.

Made of blown glass, this vase features a distinctive shape with a bulbous base, a slender neck, and a wide collar, complemented by a matching stopper. The glass finish has a subtle sheen that highlights its rich, nuanced purple hue. The original label from the Liège retailer “Armand Kaye” is still present, attesting to its provenance and history.
The general condition of this vase is good, reflecting particular care over the decades. The glass surface is smooth and shiny, , including the original stopper. It retains its authentic vintage character without major alterations. The structure has just a small defect under the vase (see photo).
