This is a rare and historically significant Lignatone trumpet that was handmade in Czechoslovakia in the post-war period. The instrument has a silver-plated brass body with elegant engravings, most notably a heraldic lion coat of arms and the name "Lignatone" in classical script on the bell - a tribute to the hand-crafted engraving tradition of Central Europe
