Product description
This lightweight vintage wooden folding chair is presumably the Trieste model, designed by Aldo Jacober for the Italian manufacturer Alberto Bazzani in the 1960s. The chair features a distinctive A-shaped construction, a slightly curved backrest, and a slatted wooden seat. The design is simple and functional, yet its angled legs and open construction give it a unique appearance. The chair is fully foldable and takes up little space when folded. Also handy as an extra chair at a dining table or as a standalone piece of furniture in a living room or bedroom. DETAILS Design: attributed to Aldo Jacober Model: presumably Trieste Manufacturer: attributed to Alberto Bazzani Period: presumably 1960s Origin: presumably Italy Material: wood Color: warm honey brown Execution: fully foldable DIMENSIONS Height: 85 cm The price is fixed. Width: 45 cm Depth: 49 cm Seat height: 46 cm CONDITION Good vintage condition. The original finish is largely preserved. The wood shows light signs of use, including some scratches and small marks, consistent with its age. Overall, the chair looks well-maintained. Please see the photos for the exact condition. ATTRIBUTION The shape, construction, and dimensions strongly match Aldo Jacober's Trieste folding chair. As a manufacturer's mark has not been confirmed, the chair is attributed to this design.
