About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Vintage 1960s teak Bar cart, adopting the minimalist and sculptural aesthetic codes emblematic of Niels Otto Møller's creations for the famous Danish house J.L. Møller.
This serving cart is a representative piece of mid-20th century Scandinavian design, made of teak. Its silhouette is defined by clean lines and gracefully curved handles, characteristic of the functional and aesthetic furniture of the era.
Manufactured in the 1960s, this cart is entirely constructed from teak wood, valued for its durability and rich grain. It features two storage levels, offering a generous surface for serving or displaying objects. Mounted on four castors, it combines mobility and stability, making it a piece of furniture that is as practical as it is elegant.
The cart is in good overall condition, retaining its original finish which highlights the warm and natural patina of the wood. The structure is solid and testifies to the quality of craftsmanship of the era. It has been well maintained over the decades, preserving its authentic character.
With its timeless design, this Bar cart harmoniously integrates into a Mid-Century Modern, vintage, or contemporary interior. It can serve as a mobile bar in a living room, a serving cart in a dining room, or a versatile side table.
