About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This vintage tray is a refined example of mid-century woodworking, crafted from solid teak wood. The design is characterized by a thoughtful compartment division, which gives the object both a sculptural and functional quality. The tray is carved from teak wood originating from Thailand, as confirmed by the original label on the underside. The warm, brown hue of the wood emphasizes the natural grain and texture of the material. The five carved compartments offer a structured presentation for various snacks, while the integrated handles at the ends ensure a seamless design. The object is in good condition consistent with its age and use. Over the years, the teak wood has developed an authentic patina that contributes to the character of the piece. This tray is an elegant addition to a dining table or coffee table. It fits perfectly within a Scandinavian or mid-century modern interior and offers a stylish way to present snacks or small objects.
