Product description
This is a vintage hall stand from the mid-20th century, combining a coat rack, bench, and storage in a single, efficient piece. Its design is a fine example of the functional and streamlined aesthetic that defined the era, offering a complete solution for an entryway. The structure is composed of a black lacquered metal frame, which supports vertical wooden panels with a warm teak finish. It features six brass hooks with black accents for hanging coats and accessories, an integrated mirror, and a tubular metal hat rack at the top. The base consists of a storage chest, also finished in teak, which is topped with a padded bench seat upholstered in black skai or faux leather. This piece remains in a good, well-preserved vintage condition, consistent with its age and history of use. The materials retain their original character, showcasing the authentic patina that develops over time. The combination of teak, black metal, and brass details is emblematic of Mid-Century design principles. As a highly practical and stylish object, this hall stand is perfectly suited for an entrance hall or corridor. It provides seating, storage, and hanging space, making it an ideal anchor piece for interiors decorated in a Mid-Century Modern, Vintage, or eclectic style. There is a tear in the black vinyl, see pictures, with slight signs of wear and age.
