About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This vintage travel suitcase, dating from the 1930s-1940s, is an authentic testament to the art of travel of yesteryear. Its robust silhouette and period materials give it a historical and decorative character.
The structure of the suitcase is designed in vulcanized fiber or dark-colored textured leather, reinforced by metal slats and protective corner pieces. The interior reveals an original tartan-patterned fabric lining in shades of brown and beige, equipped with straps to hold personal belongings. The clasps and handle are made of metal, completing its solid construction.
This piece has spanned decades and presents a pronounced patina that tells its story. All elements, including the hardware and interior lining, are original, thus preserving its soul and authenticity. Its general condition is consistent with its age and past use.
Ideal as a decorative object, this suitcase can serve as a unique side table, an original storage solution, or simply an accent piece in an industrial, vintage, or eclectic style interior. It brings a touch of nostalgia and charm to any space.
