Intact, hand-thrown stoneware (gres) unique vase by the renowned Dutch ceramist Joop Beekwilder, made in his Atelier 'De Ronding' in Schoonhoven in the 1970s. The cylindrical vase has a sturdy, robust appearance with the recognizable hand-thrown ring structure and is finished with a beautiful, deep glossy chestnut brown glaze. The original studio stamp of De Ronding is pressed into the clay on the underside. Height is 18.3 cm, top diameter is 8 cm.
