Product description
This is a charming set of two vintage stools, produced by the Dutch Rohé Noordwolde. The combination of a natural material with a sleek metal frame makes them a recognizable example of Dutch Design from the mid-20th century.
The stools have a hand-woven rattan seat, which provides a warm and organic look. This rests on a sturdy, tubular base of chrome-plated metal. The contrasting materials and minimalist form are characteristic of the design period of the 60s and 70s. The color of the rattan is natural beige and the frame is silver-colored.
This set is in good vintage condition, with a character that matches its age. The construction is still solid and the rattan weave is intact, ready for a new chapter.
