Vintage Brutalist Midcentury Design Retro 60s Spanish birth chair stool in dark brown stained oak with 3 legs and green cushion with 2 tassels in multicolored gold thread.
From North Africa, these birth chairs found their way to Spain where they were often used as sitting stools and deco objects in the 1960s.
The beautifully shaped holes on either side of the seat were originally intended as handles.
